The Feliciano School of Business offers several competitive scholarships to our undergraduate students, each having certain criteria. Please find a full listing below of the scholarships available.

Bobby Hughes Memorial Scholarship Amount: $1,250 1 recipient

Academic Status: Must be a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in the School of Business
GPA Requirements: 3.2

Academic Status: student concentrating in Commercial Real Estate who demonstrate financial need and demonstrate merit. Have completed REAL 204 or and currently enrolled in REAL 204 during the application period. Committed to enrollment in REAL 305 and/or REAL 360 for the Fall 2023 semester. Doug Williams Memorial Scholarship Amount: $2,000 1 recipient

Academic Status: The recipient must be a Full-time Undergraduate student (minimum 12 credits at MSU) and have completed a minimum of 65 credits toward their degree

Drukker Foundation Management Scholarship Amount: $1,000 1 recipient

Academic Status: Undergraduate Business Administration Major, Concentration in Management or Entrepreneurship. Full-time (12 or more credits) student and earned a minimum of 48 credits.
GPA Requirements: Minimum GPA of 3.0 (cumulative grade point average)

Essay Description: Please write an essay between 750 and 1,000 words in which you describe an ethical dilemma you faced in your life and how you resolved it. (An ethical dilemma is the struggle people find themselves in when making decisions that may help you or some groups even though the same decisions might hurt another person or other groups).

Hancouski Scholarship Amount: $900 3 recipients

Helane R. Becker Scholarship Amount: $2,500 2 recipients

Academic Status: Must be an undergraduate student in the School of Business.

James F.X. McGovern Leadership Award Amount: $250 1 recipient

Academic Status: At the time of application, must be a student in the School of Business entering their Senior year in the fall semester.
GPA Requirements: n/a

Additional Notes: Must have good leadership skills, good character and a commitment to campus and community service. Students must have high academic achievement. PLEASE NOTE: As part of the application process, you will need to upload a recommendation letter from a Feliciano School of Business professor. Please have it available for upload before beginning this application. The letter should discuss your character, your leadership skills, and your commitment to campus and community service.

Apply for the James F.X. McGovern Leadership Award

Academic Status: Open to all full time undergraduate Business students with concentrations in Marketing, Retail Merchandising and Management, or International Business.  Must have a minimum GPA of 3.25.  Preference given to rising Junior or Senior.
GPA Requirements: Must have a minimum GPA of 3.25.

Essay Description: Please write an essay of approximately 500 words describing your professional goals and how your education in the Marketing Dept and Montclair State University will enable you to achieve these goals. Include in your essay how you feel your degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing, International Business, or Retail Merchandising and Management, will contribute to your total development now and in the future. Please also include concrete examples of your contribution to enhancing marketing advocacy, practice, and application in the Marketing Department of the Feliciano School of Business. It is recommended that you write your essay in a word processing software and then copy and paste into this form.

Mark S. Johnson Memorial Community Service Marketing Department Award Amount: $100 tuition credit + plaque 1 recipient

Academic Status: Open to all Business students with concentrations in Marketing, Retail Merchandising & Management, or International Business.  This scholarship is awarded to students with strong records of service to their community and/or the MSU campus community.
GPA Requirements: n/a
Essay Required: Yes
Essay Description: Attach a statement (no longer than two double-spaced pages) detailing the service activities that you performed to either your community and/or MSU campus community. It is recommended that you write your essay in a word processing software and then copy and paste it into this form.
Additional Notes: Applicants must submit documentation or recommendation of their community engagement activities from their supervisor(s) at the 501 (3c) organization(s) they served, validating the activities and initiatives cited in the application. The recommendation must be on the organization letterhead with organization code, address, and phone number. Dr. Mark Johnson was an Associate Professor in the MarketingDepartment who died suddenly in the spring of 2007.  Dr. Johnson wasan outstanding teacher, researcher and supporter of charitable works. Most notably, he was a volunteer with the Ozanam Men and Shelter in New Brunswick, NJ.  In his memory, the Marketing Department has established a partial tuition scholarship which will recognize the student in the department who best typifies the spirit of giving that Dr. Johnson exhibited in his life.

Professor David and Lynda Finch Scholarship Amount: $1,000 1 recipient

Academic Status: Undergraduate Business Administration Major, Concentration in Management or Entrepreneurship. Hospitality students are also invited to apply. Full-time (12 or more credits) student and earned a minimum of 15 credits at MSU.
GPA Requirements: Minimum GPA of 2.75
