Profile
Currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Cindy also teaches on the ballet faculty at Montclair State University. Cynthia is a veteran of the Broadway stage, currently working as a director/choreographer in the New York City area. Her Broadway experience included working with theatre legends; Agnes DeMille, Twyla Tharp, Susan Stroman, Leonard Bernstein, Arthur Laurents, Ernie Flatt, and Mike Ockrent. Broadway performance credits include: Me and My Girl, Singin’ in the Rain, 42nd Street, My Fair Lady, Nick & Nora, Meet Me in St. Louis, and A Christmas Carol. National tours: 42nd Street, Oklahoma!, and Sugar Babies. Movies: The Producers. Director/Choreographer credits include works for: Fairleigh Dickinson University, Theatreworks/USA, Two Beans Productions, the AMDA Dance Workshop, City Center Encores Education, TADA!, Camp Broadway, Allenberry Playhouse, Mill Mountain Theatre, Reagle Players, Montclair Operetta Club, City College of NY and Penn State University. Cynthia holds a B.A.in Dance (Cum Laude), from Butler University, is a certified Teaching Artist through City Center Certificate Program K–12. Cynthia performed with the San Antonio Ballet, Indianapolis Ballet, and studied with the Washington Ballet and Houston Ballet. Cynthia is a long time member of Actors Equity Association, Screen Actors Guild and Society of Directors and Choreographers.
